Boston Lo shoot
I came to learn about the Lo-Lifes in highschool listening to Thirstin Howell the 3rd tapes and while I never have been big on brand names, Ralph in particular, I’ve appreciated the style, culture and community the Lo-heads I know come together around. This past weekend, my homie Franclo asked me to shoot a Lo gathering in Harvard Square. We mobbed it in the pit for a while before making our way into the yard, finally taking refuge under ground in the station. There were Lo-heads from far and near, young and old with bags full of rare pieces to show and share. I pretty much gave up when the jackets and scarfs from my birth-year and before came out.
Next time I want cats to pay me in used pieces. (FYI I wear a medium.)
For more pics check out the album on the new Jacob Leidolf Arts FB page.
The video was shot by me and edited by Byrd (BD3 Films) who was kicking himself for not being there.
