Mosaic
The ‘Mosaic’ EP by SPNDA x Kae Tea was started between 2014 and 2015 and was released at the end of 2018. The project in SPNDA’s words “represents a pivotal moment in my life, almost like time capsule for me so its in alot of ways theraputic to let this one go. I remember wanting to just showcase every side of me on this one, good bad and ugly.”
Initially conceived as a counterpart to ‘Shards of Glass’ our cover for ‘Mosaic’ was an extension of that theme, taking broken fragments and pieces and putting them together to create a cohesive image. While this cover was composed digitally using a reference photo I took, we selected elements that had a conceptual connection to the project or a personal connection for SPNDA.
