This was a print I made in early 2011 during the beginning of the Egyptian Revolution and Arab Spring. This is a monotype based off of a news photo of a man holding up a can of American made tear gas in a protest. I was drawn to this image because it shows how US Military Aid and weapons make their way into conflicts across the globe, even (especially) ones that fail to capture national attention.

Made using various monotype techniques in multiple layers.
