Burnt Ships
This was another fun one brought to me by my brother Chairman Chow to do a cover painting and layout for a collab tape he put out with King Author. The inspiration for this was to interpret a reference photo of a burning cruise ship. They talk a bit about the idea for that on the project’s release:
While expounding on “Death Ground Strategy” in the 33 Strategies of War, Robert Greene states, “place yourself on “death ground”, where your back is against the wall and you have to fight like hell to get out alive”. The burning ship is symbolic to getting rid of the option of escape and going for the victory or die fighting. King Author is the vocalist and Chairman Chow is the instrumentalist on this adventure……enjoy.
